▪I love going to the cinema ▪I’m fond of football. ▪I’m keen on playing the guitar ▪I like watching soap-operas. ▪I enjoy playing cricket ▪I fancy a good horror film from time to time. ▪I don’t mind seeing you. |
▪I hate being wrong. ▪I can’t stand rude people. ▪I can’t bear going to the swimming pool when it’s chilly. ▪I can't put up with that boy. ▪I dislike getting up early. ▪I don’t like ballroom dancing. ▪I don’t mind eating at the canteen. |
!! en règle générale ces verbes sont suivis d’un verbe+ing ( cette forme s’appelle le gérondif). Cependant, certains d’entre eux acceptent également d’être suivis d’un verbe à l’infinitif complet. Il s’agit de can’t bear , hate , like , love.
Ainsi il est possible de dire : I can’t bear to go to the swimming pool when it’s chilly.
Ou encore I like to go out with my friends.
